2025-26 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings

149 - Shayne Van Ness

Jaxon Joy moves to #2 after winning the CKLV while defeating Kaleb Larkin, Collin Gaj, David Evans, and Eligh Rivera.

Jacob Frost drops to #7 after his loss to Eligh Rivera at the CKLV. Rivera comes up to #14 for his wins over McNeil and Frost, but is kept from moving higher due to a loss earlier this year to Kade Brown.

Caleb Tyus rises to #10 after his win over Casey Swiderski. Tyus also has a significant win over Ethan Stiles this year.

All of the movement at 149 caused us to re-shuffle wrestlers in the #4-#9 spots. First, we removed formerly ranked #5 Jack Gioffre because he hasn’t wrestled this year. Next, we dropped Wasilewski and Lamer a few spots because of their overall resumes. Wasilewski suffered losses last year to Lachlan McNeil, Jordan Williams, Jaden Abas, and Jack Gioffre. On top of that, Wasilewski was initially ranked high because of his wins over Andrew Clark, who is now ranked #25 but began the year ranked #8. Similarly, Lamer lost to Andrew Clark and Ethan Stiles last year. So, Wasilewski and Lamer come down below Stiles and Block.

Several other upsets resulted from the action that went down mostly at the CKLV, Cougar Clash, and Patriot Open. You  can see the results for those tournaments here: CKLV | Cougar Clash | Patriot Open
