2025-26 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings
141 - Jesse Mendez
Anthony Echemendia moves up to #4 after winning the CKLV. Zeth Romney drops below Echemendia but is kept from falling further due to his overall resume that includes a 3rd place finish at the 2025 NCAA Tournament and significant wins over Evan Frost, Nic Bouzakis, Jacob Van Dee, Nasir Bailey, Tyler Knox, Connor McGonagle, and Zan Fugitt. Beyond that, the wrestlers ranked directly behind Romney have blemished results this year that don’t warrant them to be moved above Romney.
Joey Olivieri rises to #6 after defeating #7 Ryan Jack.
Vince Cornella comes back into the rankings after winning the Patriot Open while defeating Tom Crook.
Julian Tagg drops 6 spots after losing to Haiden Drury and Jordan Titus at the CKLV. Tagg is kept from falling further because of his win last week over Vance VomBaur.
Jack Consiglio makes a big jump to #20 in the rankings after placing third at the CKLV. In Vegas, Consiglio recorded notable victories over Tyler Wells, Lorenzo Frezza, and Greyson Clark.
It’s also worth noting that we removed formerly ranked #4 CJ Composto from the rankings. Composto hasn’t wrestled since the 2025 NCAA Tournament, and he’ll return to the rankings when/if he returns to competition.
Several other upsets resulted from the action that went down mostly at the CKLV, Cougar Clash, and Patriot Open. You can see the results for those tournaments here: CKLV | Cougar Clash | Patriot Open
