The women’s 1500m set the tone early, with Gabbi Jennings pulling away for the win in 4:07.69, leading a trio under 4:10. The men’s 1500m followed with one of the tightest finishes of the meet, as Oliver Hoare edged Waleed Suliman in a race that saw five athletes finish within just over a second.
