2026 Wrestling World Championship Rankings

74 kg - Razambek Jamalov

2024 Olympic champion Razambek Jamalov comes into the rankings after moving back down to 74 kg from 79 kg where he had been competing. Jamalov recently won the 2026 Hasan Gemici & Gazanfer Bilge International Wrestling Tournament at 74 kg with victories over Ali Karampour, Emre Tahtaci, Amir Hosseini, Cuneyt Budak, and Yasin Yesil.

Former #1 Taimuraz Salkazanov drops to #4 after losing to Murad Kuramagomedov at the 2026 Polyák Imre, Varga János & Kozma István Memorial. Salkazanov is kept from falling further because of victories in the past year over Turan Bayramov, Murad Kuramagomedov, Timur Bizhoev, Keegan O'Toole, James Green, and Yones Emami.

With the win over Salkazanov, Kuramagomedov enters the rankings but holds at #9 because of his loss to Feng Lu at the same tournament he defeated Salkazanov. 

Along with the victory over Kuramagomedov, Lu also defeated Nurkozha Kaipanov. Those results bring Lu into the 74 kg rankings at #8.
