2025 Men's Freestyle International Wrestling Rankings

125 kg - Amir Zare

Amir Zare defended his #1 ranking by winning gold at the World Championships with victories over Giorgi Meshvildishvili, Shamil Sharipov, Solomon Manashvili, and Jonovan Smith. 

Shamil Sharipov moves up to #4 after defeating Abdulla Kurbanov, Buheerdun, and Jonovan Smith to win bronze.

Despite the loss to Sharipov, Kurbanov jumps to #5 for his wins over Wyatt Hendrickson and Dzianis Khramiankou. 

Robert Baran jumps to #7 after defeating Vladislav Baitsaev and Mohsen Siyar to win the other bronze medal at 125 kg. Baran has past losses to Nick Gwiazdowski, Abdulla Kurbanov, Mohsen Siyar, and Dzianis Khramiankou that keep him from moving up higher in the rankings.
