2027 NCAA Recruiting Class Rankings
2027 NCAA Recruiting Class Rankings
The first update since the initial set of 2027 recruiting class rankings was released on October 27th! For what it's worth, I'm aware some rankings don't necessarily match what you would think a team's ranking would be based on their big boarders. This is because the 2027 Big Board is due for an update, so I used some of my own judgment to determine where I think a recruit should be ranked. For example, Ohio State only has #18 Nick Singer, but they also have Michael Boyle. I think both of these wrestlers are top-10 level recruits.
Virginia Tech already had Melvin Miller, but added #9 Mario Carini and #78 Maximus Fortier to take the top spot.
Iowa had one of the craziest recruiting nights when they picked up #3 Joe Bachmann, #8 Paul Kenny, and #11 Isreal Borge all in the same night to claim 2nd.
Speaking of Iowa, Northern Iowa added #55 Gavin Landers to an already stacked class that is looking to potentially be the best in the Doug Schwab era. Iowa State added #6 Jimmy Mastny + Roman Stewart.
Oklahoma State added #66 Tanner Hodgins for a slight jump to #6.
Wisconsin went wild and picked up Rocco and Bruno Cassioppi + #53 Brody Sendele.
Lehigh jumps over Rutgers as Lehigh's non-current Big Board commit, Raymond Fitzgerald, defeated Ryan DeGeorge at Elite 8 Duals.
Pitt received a commitment from Brock Rothermel, who, despite not being on the Big Board, is currently ranked #11 at 120. North Carolina picked up two new Big Boarders + Nadav Nafshi, who is #11 at 165.
Bucknell added #62 Bradley Wagner to hold onto the final spot, just keeping Princeton, who got a huge commitment from Vincenzo Anello, out as they have two horses to Princeton's one.
