Domestic Men's Freestyle Rankings

Pound-For-Pound

Zahid Valencia is the new pound-for-pound king. Kyle Snyder jumps to #2 by defeating Amirali Azarpira and winning a bracket with the #1 pound-for-pound international wrestler in the world. Spencer Lee remains at #4 despite losing to Arsen Harutyunyan, because the two wrestlers above and below him have comparable losses in the past year.

Trent Hidlay makes a big jump from #10 to #5 with his World gold. Levi Haines makes the biggest jump of anyone, going from #20 to #7 with his World silver and win over Akhmed Usmanov. All the new World medalists, in addition to his loss in Poland, drop Vito to #8. Marsteller gets reranked as he lost to Starocci at the World Team Trials and is getting farther removed from his wins over Burroughs.

Despite winning bronze, Real Woods stays below Mitchell Mesenbrink as Mesenbrink has a better win this year (Carr), and Woods lost to Aden Valencia twice this year. Yianni Diakomihalis drops below PJ Duke as he is getting farther removed from a pound-for-pound win.
