Final X is the final step in USA Wrestling’s World Team Trials process for men’s and women’s freestyle. Win two matches in the best-of-three series and you will represent Team USA at the 2025 World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. The Greco-Roman World Team was set at the US Open in April.

The second annual USA Wrestling Women’s College Wrestler of the Year will be awarded after the season, but several wrestlers have separated themselves at the halfway point. Women’s college varsity wrestlers from all of the recognized college organizations are eligible, including NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA/junior college programs.

The college season is underway and Iowa programs occupy five of the top 10 spots in the women’s college pound-for-pound rankings. William Penn’s Adaugo Nwachukwu retains her #1 spot while her teammate Mia Palumbo is #10.
