All the upsets from week 1 of the 2025-26 NCAA D1 college wrestling season!

With nationally ranked wrestlers from ten different NCAA D1 programs registered to compete, this year's Southeast Open by Virginia Tech could be its deepest yet!

The US Open is bringing the most talented wrestlers from across the country to Las Vegas, and that includes many the best NCAA D1 athletes, graduates and recruits.

One of the craziest conference weekends in recent memories is in the books! We found nearly 200 upsets based on the rankings from the eight conference championships!

Up to twenty nationally ranked wrestlers could take the mat this Friday inside the Covelli Center when the #4 Ohio State Buckeyes host the #8 Minnesota Golden Gophers in Columbus. The contest is slated for a 7:00 PM eastern start time and you can catch it streaming on BTN Plus.

The NCAA season is rolling along and with it comes another week of upsets!

Dual meet season continues to roll along as we look back at another week of results and catalog all the upsets based on rankings that we could find. All the usual caveats apply. Results that technically qualify as upsets this week may not look like upsets at the end of the season or even a week from now.

As we get deeper into the 2024-25 NCAA D1 wrestling season, upsets become more consequential for ranking, seeding, and NCAA Championship qualifications purposes.

The Big Ten, the nation's toughest and deepest college wrestling conference will hold their championship on Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10 in the Xfinity Center on the University of Maryland's College Park campus, and no we have the pressed for the tournament!

The Minnesota Gophers welcome the Nebraska Cornhuskers to the Maturi Pavillion for their college wrestling home opener.
