Final X is Saturday, June 14, at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and will be streamed LIVE on FloWrestling. Final X determines the 2025 U.S. Senior World teams in two Olympic disciplines: men’s and women’s freestyle.

Final X is the final step in USA Wrestling’s World Team Trials process for men’s and women’s freestyle. Win two matches in the best-of-three series and you will represent Team USA at the 2025 World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia. The Greco-Roman World Team was set at the US Open in April.

The annual Championship of the Western Hemisphere is taking place in less than a week in Monterrey, Mexico. Wrestlers from the north and the south will converge at the 2025 UWW Senior Pan-American Championships!

There’s more than one way to reach high-level success — and this year’s women’s national team proves it. The top three finishers at every weight are on the USA Wrestling National Team, which leads to funding and first-in-line preference for international competitions.

Below is a preview of the women’s US Open field based on the latest registration list. There’s always a chance that a quality wrestler enters at the last minute or that a wrestler switches weight, but this offers an overview of the leading contenders at each weight.

The second Ranking Series event of the year, the 2023 Ibrahim Moustafa, is underway in Alexandria Egypt. Some of Team USA’s best from the men’s and women’s freestyle squads are competing against the best in the world, on February 24-February 26. It's the medal matches of the 2022 UWW Men's and Women's Freestyle Wrestling World Cup from Coralville, Iowa. Team USA has a women's match at 12 noon eastern time against Mongolia for bronze, and a men's match at 7 pm eastern against Iran for gold.
