Camden Mcdanel is from Circleville, Ohio and attends Teays Valley High School. As a sophomore, McDanel placed second in the 2021 Ohio D1 state championships. The then 16-year-old went on to become a freestyle national champion after winning the 16U division in Fargo at 182 pounds.
