Sam Herring is originally from Tennessee but moved to St. Michael, Pa in 2020. As a rising eighth grader with intent to attend Bishop McCort Catholic, Herring competed at Fargo and earned a runner-up finish in U16 freestyle at 106 pounds. His efforts also helped aid Pennsylvania in capturing the freestyle team title.
