Bienkowski has enjoyed a lengthy career on the international scene that spans all the way back to 2007 during his cadet days. Competing for Poland, during his early some of Bienkowski's biggest accomplishments were taking bronze at the Olympic qualifier in 2012, and taking silver at the golden grand prix twice.
