'Western Iowa Girls Middle School Duals Sunday, December 14, 2025 Riverside High School, 18997 US 59, Oakland, IA 51560 GIRLS Tournament Format: We will have 4 - 6 mats and are planning for 8-12 teams, split into two team Round Robin brackets. For the championship round, teams will wrestle against teams from other brackets according to how they finished. 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, etc. Normal dual meet team scoring will be used. Entry Fee: $300 flat fee per team. Bring as many wrestlers as you want. There will be at least five chances for scoring matches per weight class plus opportunities for exhibition matches. Exhibition Matches: Exhibition matches will run on a separate mat to keep the duals running without interruption. Exhibition matches are encouraged but will not count towards team scores and must be arranged and agreed upon between coaches. Coaches: Each team is allowed up to four coaches. Teams: Members of the team must currently be in grades 6, 7 or 8 and students at the school of the team program sharing agreements based upon 2023-2024 IAHSAA databases. NO 5 th graders allowed. NO students 16 years of age or older are allowed. This is NOT a club tournament. Weights: 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 130, 140, 150, 162, 190 (wrestlers may bump up one weight class from certified weight.) One pound scale allowance. Officials: Qualified officials will be used for all matches Awards: First through fourth place teams will receive team trophies Schedule: Weigh Ins: 8:30-9:00 am Coaches Meeting 9:05 am Wrestling: Round 1 9:30 am Round 2 10:30 am Round 3 11:30 am Lunch 12:30 pm Round 4 1:00 pm Finals Round 2:00 pm Admission: adults - $5, students - $3 Breakfast & Lunch will be available.
