Wyatt Hendrickson graduated from the Air Force Academy then transferred to Oklahoma State to wrestle for Olympic gold medalist David Taylor. He went on to beat Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson to win the NCAA title. He followed that up with a first place finish at the US Open and defeated Trent Hillger in two matches earning the right to represent the United States at the World Championships in the fall.

Has anyone had a better year than Wyatt Hendrickson? After transferring to Oklahoma State once he graduated from the Air Force Academy, Wyatt Hendrickson has been on a roll. He won an NCAA title in dramatic fashion against Olympic Gold medalist Geble Steveson. This sling shotted Wyatt into stardom. He followed it up by making the 2025 World team.
