The NCAA D3 golf season concludes in the men's division. Here is a look back at how Claremont-Mudd-Scripps claimed the D3 National Title.

The 2026 NCAA golf season concluded for the D3 men as the national championship crowned a new victor and concluded on May 16. 

After a grueling four rounds and having to successfully make the cut after the opening 36 holes, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps stood in the final field of 18 teams and came away with the title in dramatic fashion. 

In the final round of the championship at the Mission Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla, it came down to a sudden death playoff to secure the victory for CMS. 

The Stags had to fight their way through the course after shooting 15 under par as a team in the final round. However, freshman Sebi Aliaga was the hero for CMS. 

Aliaga shot a 67 in the final round and with a birdie on 18, he claimed the individual title after besting a tiebreaker and also broke the tie in the team standings. Illinois Wesleyan was able to battle back in the final round and pushed the championship round to a playoff. 

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps ended up pulling away with the title after the playoff. This is the second title for the program and the first since 2016.
