Pastoriza (Phoenix, Arizona) enters her senior year at Wyoming Seminary with a nice list of high-level credentials. She was a 2021 U17 World champion at 40 kg and she won a silver medal at 43 kg in July.
Turner (Lockport, Illinois) enters her freshman year after winning the 85-pound division at 14U Nationals in May with a 10-0 tech in the finals over Angelica Serratos and the U15 Nationals the same weekend with a fall and technical fall.
The two will face off at 94 pounds at Who’s Number One on September 9 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is the first meeting between the two.

Erica Pastoriza dominated her finals match at the 2021 U17 World Championships.

Morgan Turner showed off a stunning array of offensive skills in the U15 National finals, including a five-point throw to end the match.
