An arbitration date of July 29 has been set for the dispute stemming from the controversial ending to the second match between Zain Retherford and Yianni Diakomihalis at Final X.

An arbitrator agreed upon by both parties will be used. That arbitrator will make a ruling and USA Wrestling will honor it. This information was provided to FloWrestling by sources close to the situation.

At issue is how the final scoring sequence was handled in the last minute of their second match at Final X: Rutgers. Cornell and the Finger Lakes/NYRTC camp indicated immediately after the match they would be protesting the match.
