Northern Colorado is entering a new era, with the Bears preparing for their first season as a Pac-12 affiliate member and a home schedule featuring seven duals in Greeley.

From major nonconference tests to a new chapter in Pac-12 wrestling, here are the reasons to watch Northern Colorado's home duals on FloWrestling this season.

Oklahoma Opens The Home Schedule

Northern Colorado opens its home dual schedule Nov. 8 against Oklahoma at Bank of Colorado Arena.

The matchup gives the Bears an early opportunity to test their lineup against a challenging non-conference opponent.

For fans, the home opener offers an early look at the Bears as they begin a season with new conference opportunities and a demanding slate of competition.

Michigan Brings Another Major Test To Greeley

Northern Colorado will welcome Michigan on Nov. 22.

The dual gives the Bears another opportunity to compete against a Big Ten program before the schedule shifts toward conference competition in January. With Oklahoma and Michigan both visiting during the opening month of the home schedule, Northern Colorado will face challenging tests early in the season.

The matchup also gives fans another chance to see how the Bears' lineup develops before the most important stretch of the schedule arrives.

Northern Colorado Begins Its Pac-12 Era

The 2026-27 season marks Northern Colorado's first campaign as an affiliate member of the Pac-12 Conference. The Bears opens conference competition on the road in January before returning home to face Utah Valley on Jan. 24.

The transition adds another storyline to the season, with the Bears set to compete against a new group of conference opponents while working toward the Pac-12 Championships in March.

Three Straight Home Duals Highlight January

Northern Colorado will host Utah Valley on Jan. 24, South Dakota State on Jan. 29 and North Dakota State on Jan. 31.

The three-dual stretch gives the Bears an extended run of home competition during the heart of the conference schedule and several opportunities to build momentum and evaluate its lineup against conference competition.

For fans, the January home stand offers multiple chances to follow the Bears as the regular season moves toward its final weeks.

Cal State Bakersfield And Air Force Close The Home Schedule

Northern Colorado's final two home duals are scheduled for February, with CSU Bakersfield visiting on Feb. 14 and Air Force arriving on Feb. 21.

Both duals are part of Northern Colorado's Pac-12 schedule. The Bears will have an opportunity to finish the regular season at home before turning their attention to the conference tournament and the NCAA Championships.
