CSU Bakersfield enters the 2026-27 wrestling season with a busy home schedule, an early test against Big Ten competition and a series of Pac-12 matchups that will help prepare the Roadrunners for the postseason.

With eight home duals scheduled at the Icardo Center, Bakersfield fans will have plenty of opportunities to follow the Roadrunners throughout the season.

From a challenging opening weekend to a late-season showdown with Cal Poly, here are the reasons to watch Cal State Bakersfield's home duals live on FloWrestling this season.

A Season-Opening Doubleheader Sets The Tone

Cal State Bakersfield begins its home dual schedule Sunday, Nov. 1, with two matchups at the Icardo Center.

The Roadrunners will face American University at 4 p.m. ET before taking on Central Michigan at 6 p.m. ET as part of the Chippewa Challenge. The doubleheader gives Bakersfield an early opportunity to test its lineup against two different opponents and build momentum at home.

For fans, the opening day offers two duals in one afternoon and an early look at how the Roadrunners stack up against their competition.

Stanford And Michigan State Bring A Challenging Weekend

Cal State Bakersfield will welcome Stanford on Friday, Nov. 13, before hosting Michigan State on Saturday, Nov. 14.

The back-to-back matchups give the Roadrunners another opportunity to measure their progress early in the season. Stanford provides an in-state matchup, while Michigan State brings a Big Ten opponent to Bakersfield.

With two home duals on consecutive days, the weekend will offer fans an extended look at the Roadrunners as they continue to establish their lineup.

Pac-12 Competition Takes Center Stage In January

The Roadrunners return to the Icardo Center in January for three home duals against Pac-12 opponents.

Cal State Bakersfield will host Little Rock on Jan. 17, followed by North Dakota State on Jan. 22. The Roadrunners will then face South Dakota State on Jan. 24.

The three matchups provide Bakersfield with a key stretch of conference competition as the season progresses. Each dual offers an opportunity to evaluate individual matchups and build toward the postseason.

The January home stand also gives fans multiple chances to follow the Roadrunners as conference competition becomes a larger focus.

Cal Poly Rivalry Closes The Home Dual Schedule

Cal State Bakersfield will close its home dual schedule against Cal Poly on Feb. 24.

The matchup between the California programs will be the Roadrunners' final home dual before the Pac-12 Championships. With the postseason approaching, the dual will provide a final opportunity for Bakersfield to compete at the Icardo Center before turning its attention to the conference tournament.
