Ferris State used multiple quarterbacks throughout the afternoon. Chase Carter completed all six of his first-half passes for 128 yards and a touchdown, while Wyatt Bower threw a touchdown and added another on the ground. Marcel Jones took over later in the game.
Jaylin Townsend caught a touchdown from Bower, Tarick Bower hauled in a 54-yard touchdown from Carter and Jake Price, Key'Vell Cooper and Carter each scored on the ground.
The Ferris State defense was just as dominant. Northern Michigan didn't record its first first down until late in the second quarter and finished the opening half 0-for-9 on third down.
