The Vegas Golden Knights have another group of young players working toward the NHL, and the Henderson Silver Knights will remain an important stop in the organization's development pipeline in 2026-27.

Henderson opens its seventh AHL season Oct. 3 against the Bakersfield Condors at Lee's Family Forum.

Here are three Golden Knights prospects to watch with Henderson in 2026-27.

Carl Lindbom, G

Carl Lindbom established himself as one of the top goaltenders in the AHL last season.

The 23-year-old went 24-5-5 with a 2.16 goals-against average and .926 save percentage in 35 games for Henderson. He also got his first extended NHL opportunity, appearing in eight games for Vegas.

Vegas assigned Lindbom to Henderson on Sept. 23, putting him in position to once again play a major role for the Silver Knights.

Matyas Sapovaliv, F

Matyas Sapovaliv enters his third full professional season after taking a significant step forward in 2025-26.

The 2022 second-round pick recorded 18 goals and 17 assists for 35 points while playing all 72 games for Henderson last season.

At 6-foot-4, Sapovaliv brings size along with a strong two-way game. The 22-year-old was assigned to Henderson on Sept. 23 and will continue working toward his first NHL opportunity.

Mathieu Cataford, F

Mathieu Cataford is another young forward headed to Henderson.

The Golden Knights selected Cataford in the third round of the 2023 NHL Draft. He spent his first full professional season with the Silver Knights in 2025-26 before returning to Vegas for training camp this fall.

Vegas assigned Cataford to Henderson on Sept. 23, giving the 21-year-old another opportunity to develop his game at the AHL level.
