Three weeks into the D3 football season, and surprises are plentiful, and the rankings are starting to reflect them.

North Central remains at No. 1, but there has been plenty of movement behind the Cardinals. John Carroll is up to No. 2 after a 3-0 start, while UW-River Falls, Wheaton and Susquehanna round out the top five.

Some familiar names haven't had the same start. Mount Union is 1-2 and has dropped out of the Top 25, while Wartburg and Johns Hopkins also sit at 1-2. On the other side, teams like Berry, Endicott and Hope remain unbeaten and continue to move up.

Week 4 should give us even more to work with, including a ranked matchup between No. 14 Christopher Newport and No. 5 Susquehanna.
