FloCollege’s first full football weekend of September brings three packed days of action across the FCS, Division II, Division III and high school ranks from Sept. 3-5.

The weekend kicks off Thursday with one of the strongest Division II matchups on the schedule, as No. 8 Indiana (PA) faces No. 13 Ashland in the week’s only meeting between two ranked teams. No. 3 Kutztown begins its weekend against Assumption, while No. 10 Grand Valley State hosts West Texas A&M in another matchup featuring a national contender. Thursday’s slate also includes Valdosta State hosting Warner and an FCS showdown between Lindenwood and CAA Football member Stony Brook.

The ranked action continues Friday when two-time defending NCAA Division II champion and current No. 1 Ferris State welcomes Bentley to Big Rapids. The Bulldogs have set the standard for the division, but Bentley will get an early opportunity to test itself against the nation’s top-ranked team. Wingate and Delta State also meet in an intriguing regional matchup between two programs accustomed to competing in the postseason picture.

Division III joins the ranked spotlight Saturday with No. 22 Hardin-Simmons hosting Chapman. The Cowboys headline a deep D3 slate that also features Muhlenberg against rival Moravian, Wittenberg visiting Washington and Lee, WashU taking on Rhodes and Redlands facing George Fox.

CAA Football fans will have two more FCS matchups to follow Saturday. Monmouth hosts Sacred Heart, while Campbell welcomes Western Carolina to Buies Creek. Along with Stony Brook’s Thursday night game, the three contests give CAA programs an early chance to build momentum during nonconference play.

There is no shortage of additional Division II action Saturday, including West Alabama against Lenoir-Rhyne, Reinhardt visiting No. 14 Newberry, Texas A&M-Kingsville facing Saginaw Valley State and Tiffin traveling to Northern Michigan. The schedule also stretches into the high school ranks with major interstate matchups such as Gainesville against East St. Louis and a loaded Friday lineup featuring Bergen Catholic, Good Counsel, Buford, Mallard Creek, St. Frances Academy and Vero Beach.

From ranked contenders to CAA Football showdowns and high-profile high school programs, the weekend offers football from Thursday night through Saturday on FloCollege.
