Towson quarterback Andrew Indorf was named Co-Offensive Rookie Of The Year in the CAA, announcing himself to the conference as true freshman with 16 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions in 12 games. The young QB had a full offseason with the coaching staff to improve and is entering the 2026 season with high expectations.

Indorf was picked to the preseason CAA Honorable Mentions team by CAA coaches, just behind Rhode Island QB Devin Farrell who was named to the preseason all-conference team.

Two Top CAA Defenses Will Go Head-To-Head

Maine and Towson is a battle between two teams who have high levels of defensive talent.

The Black Bear's trenches are especially strong. They finished in the top four in rushing yards allowed per game in 2025, and enter 2026 led by star defensive linemen Chris Bacon and Ta'Kai Chisholm.

Towson ended the 2025 season with the second highest defensive efficiency in the CAA. Despite not having any defensive players named to the preseason all-conference team, they are a well-rounded unit prepared to continue their strong play in 2026.
