Top Six Super Region II & IV Games In Week 0
2026 Western Colorado vs West Texas A&M
The opening night game of the 2026 season takes D2 football fans to Canyon, Texas on Aug. 27 in this classic rivalry between the Lone Star Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
The West Texas A&M Buffs and Western Colorado Mountaineers continue their rivalry in this 2026 season as the WTAMU home opener. The Buffs will hope to bounce back from their week zero loss in the 2025 season, 45-23, and start the 2026 season on a high note before traveling to take on Grand Valley State in Week 1.
The Buffs enter in to the new season after a 8-4 finish in the 2025 campaign.
2026 Tiffin University vs Carson-Newman
A game slated for a 6:00 PM CT kickoff on Aug. 27 sees the South Atlantic Conference take on the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
Carson-Newman and Tiffin University will square off to open their own 2026 campaigns. In the first time that this specific matchup against SAC and G-MAC occurs, both teams will look to start their seasons in the win column.
The Eagles will enter the 2026 season after a 7-3 performance in 2025. The Dragons will enter in to the new season with a 7-4 finish in 2025.
2026 Emory & Henry vs Valdosta State
It's a SAC and Gulf South Conference matchup that everyone has been waiting to see. These two teams will square off for the first time in the 2026 season and in the new era of the game, each team has something to prove.
In the GSC, only three teams will compete in football in the new season so there is no automatic qualifier up for grabs so a tough pre-season win could seal the deal for the Valdosta State Blazers in 2026.
For Emory & Henry Football, the best hope if the team does not secure an automatic qualifier is for and at-large bid.
The Blazers enter in to the new season after a 6-5 finish in 2025, while the Wasps come in to 2026 looking to continue their success after a 8-3 finish in 2025.
2026 Fort Hays State vs Angelo State
The LSC is back in the spotlight on Thursday night as the Angelo State Rams take on the Fort Hays State Tigers on Aug. 27.
The Rams and the Tigers have seen each other on the field several times where the series is currently tied at 1-1.
The home opener will be a high point for ASU who are looking to bounce back after a low season in 2025 that saw the team go 6-5.
The Tigers are also looking to start the season on a high after their own 6-5 season in 2025.
2026 Virginia Union vs Lenoir-Rhyne
As the opening weekend of football continues, the only game streaming on FloCollege on Friday will feature the Virginia Union Panthers and the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
With a slated kickoff of 5PM CT, the Bear and the Panthers will square off for the fourth time in program history. The Panthers lead the series 2-1.
Virginia Union faces off against Lenoir-Rhyne after a 2025 season that saw the Panthers in the first round of the playoffs. Lenoir-Rhyne will look to open the 2026 season on high note after going 6-5 in 2025.
2026 Northwest Missouri State vs A&M-Kingsville
The final Super Region II & IV week zero game fans should keep their eyes on takes place on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The LSC is back on the field as Texas A&M-Kingsville takes on Northwest Missouri State.
The Javelinas and the Bearcats will take the field for the fourth time in program history as Northwest Missouri State leads the series 3-0.
TAMUK will look to open its 2026 campaign in the win column after a low 2025 season that saw the Javelinas go 5-6.
The Bearcats will look to continue their winning ways after a 2025 campaign that saw Northwest Missouri State go one round deep in the NCAA playoff with a 9-3 record.
