D2 football returns next week, and FloCollege's Week 0 schedule has a little bit of everything.
There are the early tests between Division 2 contenders, inter-division matchups, MIAA vs. LSC, and teams that'll only be starting to explore what 2026 might look like.

Western Colorado and West Texas A&M kick things off with an early Lone Star-RMAC showdown, while Virginia Union faces Lenoir-Rhyne in a clash of teams eyeing the playoffs. Meanwhile, Fort Hays State squares off against Angelo State in another matchup that promises to reveal plenty from the start.
There are a few unconventional matchups to keep an eye on as well. Glenville State faces off against FCS opponent Elon; Sul Ross State kicks things off with Wayland Baptist; and multiple teams will debut new quarterbacks, coaches, or revamped lineups for the first time beyond training camp.
Week 0 runs from Thursday, Aug. 27 through Sunday, Aug. 30, giving fans four straight days of college football before the calendar even turns to September.
