
The Women's Finals day at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships has come to an end, and we have a confirmed winner from the SEC.
The Georgia Bulldogs win their second team title since 2015, securing the win with 50 points with Florida, Arkansas, and Oregon right behind to complete the top 4 int he final point totals of the competition.

The final day featured historic performances across the track. Adaejah Hodge bounced back from second in the 100m to win the 200m in a collegiate-record 21.68, while Arkansas' Sanu Jallow shattered meet, collegiate, and championship records en route to the 800m title.
Georgia's Dejanea Oakley also rewrote the record books in the 400m, clocking 48.79 to claim the NCAA crown. The Women's 5000m saw a late shakeup as Marion Jepngetich was elevated to champion following the disqualification of Doris Lemngole.

Georgia Secures NCAA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Team Championships
Georgia claimed the women’s team title at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, finishing atop the standings with 50 points with Florida following in second with 43 points, while Arkansas rounded out the top three with 38. It's Georgia's second women's team title since 2015.

In a stunning post-race development, Doris Lemngole was disqualified from the women's 5000m after initially claiming victory on the track due to taking too many steps over the inside line under rule R: 15.5-3g. New Mexico's Marion Jepngetich has been awarded the win, but Alabama is protesting the ruling.

Arkansas Closes NCAA Championships with Dominant 4x400m Victory
Arkansas closed out the women’s 4x400m relay in dominant fashion, winning the NCAA title in a season-best 3:18.88. The Razorbacks controlled the race from early legs and never relinquished the lead, holding off Georgia in 3:20.96 and Tennessee in 3:23.75.

George's Adaejah Hodge answered back in a big way, storming to the women’s 200m title in a record-breaking 21.68 after narrowly missing out on the 100m title earlier in the competition. Now, Hodge has the opportunity to cap her remarkable season with a national title in one of the most anticipated races of the meet.
