
The Men's Finals day at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships is over, and we have a new men's winner coming out of the SEC.
The Arkansas Razorbacks win their first team title in 23 years, securing the win with a third place finish in the 4x400m relay. Georgia, Tennessee and LSU rounded out the top 4 in the final point totals.

Individual performances also took the track and field world by storm. Ja'Kobe Tharp didn't exactly run a 12.75, but a 12.90 was more than enough to win an individual title in the 110m hurdles. Auburn continued to post impressive performances with Kanyinsola Ajayi, who ran a 9.72 in the 100m.
Dominant team performances and individual standouts were the story of the men's final. Tomorrow, the women's final will close out the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Arkansas Fends Off Georgia To Secure NCAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Team Championship
Arkansas emerged as the 2026 NCAA men's outdoor team champion with 56 points, holding off a late charge from Georgia, which finished second with 49. Tennessee rounded out the podium with 46 points, while LSU and Oregon also eclipsed the 40-point mark. It's Arkansas' first men's team title in 23 years.

New Mexico's Habtom Samuel capped a remarkable championship meet by adding the men's 5000m title to his 10,000m crown, winning in 13:38.93. Wake Forest's Rocky Hansen closed strongly to finish second, while Louisville freshman Elsingi Kipruto claimed third. Three Sections of Heptathlon Have Runners Finish Under 25.5 Seconds
Maresa Hense runs a 24.14 for UConn to claim the first section of the 200m. Vanderbilt's Marta Sivina claimed the victory in the third section of the heptathlon 200m, running 24.46 to narrowly defeat Florida's Pauline Bikembo by 0.07 seconds. Kirwa Delivers NCAA Steeplechase Crown For Louisville
Louisville's Geoffrey Kirwa lived up to his billing as the favorite, pulling away late to capture the NCAA men's 3000m steeplechase title in 8:17.46. Tulane's Silas Kiptanui stayed within striking distance throughout the race before settling for second in 8:18.20, while Eastern Kentucky's Kristian Imroth secured third. Kentucky's Collins Kiprop Kipngok and Oregon's Benjamin Balazs rounded out the top five.
