Ruan Venter, Henco van Wyk and Francke Horn have all become major attacking threats, while Chris Smith finished the regular season with 154 points.
The problem is consistency away from home.
The Lions lost their last two matches in Ireland and have won just once in 10 visits to the country.
Leinster, the defending URC Champion, also dominated the previous meeting between the sides earlier this month.
Still, playoff rugby creates strange pressure. And Leinster is coming off one of the worst losses in club history in the Investec Champions Cup Final.
Leinster enter every postseason carrying enormous expectations and anything short of a title is viewed as failure. If the Lions can stay close early and force tension into the stadium, the pressure could quickly shift.
The Lions have already shown they can score against elite teams.
Now they must prove they can survive in one of the hardest playoff environments in world rugby.
