The 2026 Division 1 softball postseason is officially underway. With the selection show announcing the full field on May 10, the hunt for a spot in the "Greatest Show On Dirt" is on. 

• College Softball Rankings 2026: Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma Lead Polls

64 teams were named tot he full field of postseason competition. With familiar faces like Oklahoma and Texas to newer faces like Wagner, the competition is strong heading in to the opening weekend of regional play. 

16 fields will place home to the regional tournaments to help cut the field to advance to Super Regional play. 

The National Championship tournament will take place from May 28 to June 5. Here is a look at all of the information for NCAA D1 softball postseason.
