The 2026 NCAA Division 3 postseason is officially underway. After the announcement of the final field of teams on May 11, here is all the information!

Softball fans, it is time to be excited. The air is getting warmer and that can only mean one thing, it's postseason time. 

The NCAA D3 teams get a spark back if they heard their name called on May 11 during the selection show. During this time the final field of 64 teams was announced. 

42 automatic qualifiers and 22 at large bid winners will be split across eight regionals to play in the opening rounds of postseason play. 

With Virginia Wesleyan still in the top position to have a deep postseason run, the D3 softball landscape is fierce. 

Here is everything to know about the NCAA D3 softball postseason. 

When Is The NCAA D3 National Championship

The D3 championship tournament is set for May 28-June 3 in Salem, VA.
