When Is The NCAA D1 Men's Golf Championship? Here's The Dates & Schedule

The 2026 D1 Men's Golf Championship is right around the corner. As the final field was announced on May 6, here is all of the championship information.

The 2026 D1 Men's Championship is almost here. With a large field ready to hit the links in the regional tournaments, all eyes are on California for the final rounds. 

The full field was announced in the selection show on May 6. With 81 teams and 45 individuals not on a team preparing for action, six courses across the country from Georgia to Arizona will host a regional tournament to weed out the field. 

After the regional tournaments conclude on May 20, the field will be cut down to the top-five teams and the individual winner not on an advancing team from each region will advance to the final round of play from May 29- June 3. 

The tournament for the national title will be played in Carlsbad, Calif. The Omni La Costa Resort & Spa will be the host. 

Each conference winner received an auto-bid to a regional tournament on May 6. The CAA will be represented well as the University of North Carolina Wilmington will head to the Bryan regional in Bryan, Texas. UNCW is ranked 40th in the nation in the most recent Scoreboard rankings.

When Is The D1 Men's Golf Championship?

The final rounds of the NCAA D1 Championship will be played from May 29- June 3 in Carlsbad, Calif. 

When Are The Regional Tournaments?

The NCAA D1 Men's Championship has six regional tournaments before the final. The regional tournaments will take place  from May 18-20.
