Grant Fisher will run the 5,000m at the Paris Diamond League Meeting on June 28, 2026 - returning to the Stade Charlety for the first time since earning double bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the 5,000m and 10,000m.

Fisher has raced a limited schedule so far in 2026. At this point in 2025, Fisher had already run seven races, but in 2026 he only has two to his name.

He opened his 2026 campaign at the NBIGP in January. He raced the 2K and finished second to Hobbs Kessler who would set an American Record in the event.

Fisher then switched his attention to the NYC Half Marathon, making his road debut over that distance. He escaped with a 14th place finish in 1:00:53.

Looking back at 2025, Fisher did run a personal best of 12:44.09 at the BU Valentine Invitational. That mark snapped the Indoor World Record and gave him the fastest 5K in US History (All-Conditions). He will certainly have his goals set at bettering that mark in 2026.
