The 2026 baseball season is hitting its peak. For the D2 teams, the start of conference tournaments mean that regular season titles are being passed out nationwide.

In the Lone Star Conference, it has been a a dog fight for the latter parts of the season. However, there is a team that has stepped up and shown out when the lights shined the brightest.
The UT Tyler Patriots claimed the LSC regular season title after a series win over the St. Marry's Rattlers during the weekend of April 24-26.
The Patriots won the series, 3-1, after winning the opening game and sweeping the double header. UT Tyler narrowly dropped the series finale against the Rattlers.
This is the first regular season LSC title for the Patriots who finished the season 40-10.
UT Tyler earns the right to host the LSC Tournament and will continue its season in the hopes of making it to the D2 College World Series in Cary, NC.
When Is The 2026 MLB Draft?
The MLB Draft begins the Sunday of MLB All-Star Week, which is being held in Philadelphia from July 11-14.
