Only four teams remain in the hunt for the most coveted trophy in U.S. junior hockey. The Clark Cup Playoffs' conference finals are now set after a pair of Games 5 Tuesday night settled the last two spots.

The defending Clark Cup champion Muskegon Lumberjacks roared back from a 2-1 series deficit to dispatch the Dubuque Fighting Saints in five games. Meanwhile, the Sioux Falls Stampede took out the Lincoln Stars in Game 5 Tuesday night with a 2-0 shutout. Awaiting Muskegon was the Madison Capitols, who beat Anderson Cup champion Youngstown in four games. Additionally, the Fargo Force took care of the Sioux City Musketeers in four games and that's how we got to the following schedule.

Every game from the Clark Cup Playoffs conference finals will stream live on FloHockey, while Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final will also appear on FloHockey 24/7, the free channel available on Amazon Prime, Fubo, Bell Fibe and YouTube.

What To Watch For In The Conference Finals

Caleb Heil Is On Another Level This Postseason

Perhaps the biggest story in the postseason so far has been the outright dominance of Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Caleb Heil as he has backstopped the Madison Capitols to the Eastern Conference Final. Heil has made six starts, winning five of those games and posting a sterling .966 save percentage. The Caps took out the regular-season champion Youngstown Phantoms last round.

Heil had a fine season, but didn't showcase the level he's playing at right now as consistently. He picked a good time to get hot for the Caps. The North Dakota commit isn't the only reason they have thriving Clark Cup hopes, but he's the biggest reason right now. A hot goalie can go a long way this time of year.

Muskegon Eyes Repeat Bid

The Muskegon Lumberjacks may be the defending champs, but they lost so many of the players that made that possible last year including Tynan Lawrence, who left midseason to join college hockey ahead of schedule. Losing the postseason MVP in Lawrence could have been a death knell, but no one told the Jacks.

After falling behind 2-1 in their series to Dubuque, Muskegon used some of that postseason magic to win two straight and get to another conference final. Nashville Predators prospect Viktor Nörringer has been a driver in the postseason with eight points, while Drew Stewart is the team's top goal scorer. They have more than enough offensive firepower to hang with anyone and should have loads of confidence after dispatching a very talented Dubuque squad.

Titans Of The West Clash In Front Of Big Crowds

If you're looking for atmosphere, excitement and some big, big crowds, you should see packed buildings during the Western Conference Final. Sioux Falls has averaged 5,509 fans over its home playoff games thus far, while Fargo has seen an average of 4,113. The end result has been loud buildings and the irreplaceable feel of postseason hockey.

The Stampede led the West and get home ice advantage during the series, but Fargo was right behind them in the standings in the conference. Though Sioux Falls had the standings edge, Fargo has had their number this year. The Force won six of eight meetings between the two teams during the regular season.

Expect a physical, passionate, exciting series between these two natural rivals.
