Zouhair Talbi delivered a landmark performance at the 2026 Boston Marathon, finishing 5th in 2:03:45 and setting a new American best, surpassing Conner Mantz’s previous mark from 2025 by more than a minute.
Talbi’s run marked a significant breakthrough on one of the sport’s biggest stages, as he not only placed inside the top five overall but also redefined the American standard in the marathon with a controlled, high-level execution from start to finish.
Behind him, Charles Hicks (2:04:35) also beat Mantz's mark, reinforcing a standout day for American men in Boston. 5 American men placed in the top 15.
