The eleventh leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League series will land in London, England, on June 18, gearing up for one of the most anticipated sprint showdowns of the season.
On their home soil, three of London's biggest sprint stars, Amy Hunt, Dina Asher-Smith, and Daryll Neita, will go head-to-head in the 200m.

- Noah Lyles To Headline 100m At Rome Diamond League Meeting In June 2026
- Josh Kerr Will Attempt To Break Mile WR In London
Each bring their own edge to the track: Olympic silver medals, National records, and years of international experience. But in London, those resumes will take a back seat as they battle for supremacy in front of their home crowd.
The trio is no stranger to one another. Appear as each other's biggest competitors, when their forces are combined, they are one of the strongest units in the world. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, they teamed up to race the 4x100m, for which they took silver to Team USA.
Only 22 at the time of the silver medal, Amy Hunt has showed her upward trajectory shown her young spirit, and speed. Hunt earned her second silver medal at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo, marking a turning point in her career.
Hunt will return to the London Athletics Meeting after being a part of the gold medal 4x100m relay team for the past two years.
While Hunt brings the youth energy, Dina Asher-Smith brings the experience. Three-time Olympian, six-time World Championship medalist, and World Champion, Asher-Smith is virtually unstoppable.
Holding three British records, the London native has been a top contender in the track and field scene since 2014 after running a National U20 record. The National 200m record currently stands in her name at 21.88 from the Doha leg of the 2019 Wanda Diamond League series.
Daryll Neita will round out the British trio after being a dominant force on Great Britain's relay teams for years.
A European 200m silver medalist in 2024, and Olympic and World medalist in the 4x100m relay. Following close behind Asher-Smith, Neita is the second-fastest British woman in the 100m (10.90), and the fourth-fastest in the 200m (22.16), behind Asher-Smith and Hunt.
Gabby Thomas, the Olympic 200m gold medalist, is expected to return after winning the London Diamond League in 2025. If she lines up the race, it instantly becomes global, and the stakes are heightened.
