This morning, race organizers have announced that Noah Lyles will race at the SEIKO Golden GP on May 17, 2026. Lyles is slated to race the 100m.

Recently, it was also announced that Lyles will race the 100m at the Rome Golden Gala Diamond League Meeting on June 4.
In 2024, Lyles won the Olympic 100m Championship. He then won The Diamond Trophy in the 200m and World Championship Gold in the 200m and 4x100m, in 2025.
The 2026 indoor season saw him run the 300m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix (second in 32.15) and finish third at the USATF Championships in the 60m (6.51).
After that 300m in Boston, Lyles declared that 2026 would be an entertaining season for the fans and that he would race a myriad of events this year..
This year's race will be Lyles' first at the SIEKO Golden GP in Tokyo.
