The 2026 Utah High School Activities Association State Wrestling Championships will see this year’s titlists determined across 11 categories, two incredible venues and a pair of long, action-packed February weekends.
The robust UHSAA landscape divides the state’s schools into six classifications for athletics, which are based on enrollment and realigned regularly, with the latest review determining classifications for 2025-2027.
Each classification, six for boys and five for girls – 1A through 6A – will have its own time in the spotlight, and all of the action will be broadcast live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app.
The competitions will be split across the 8,000-seat UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, and the 4,144-seat Sevier Valley Center on the Snow College campus in Richfield, Utah.
The first event will kick off Feb. 4, and the final state champion will be crowned Feb. 14.

Did You Know: Utah High School Wrestling Is Closing In On A Century Of Action
The first high school wrestling state championships in Utah were claimed in 1938, and there was just one classification until a second was added in 1954.
Utah also held dual championships for a brief time, but the event only lasted two years, according to the state records – 2016, 2017.
Girls wrestling broke onto the scene in Utah as a championship sport for the 2020-2021 campaign, and state champions have been crowned each year since.
Two girls wasted no time stamping their names in the record book.
Brooklyn Pace (Copper Hills) earned four consecutive state titles from 2021-2024, winning at 115, 115, 120 and 125 pounds.
Kristina Kent (Davis) matched the feat soon after, winning four titles from 2022-2025 at 100, 100, 100 and 105 pounds).
After nearly 90 years of action for the boys, more than 40 athletes have claimed four state championships, including international superstar Cael Sanderson (1994-1997), who went on to become the most dominant collegiate wrestler in NCAA history.
Sanderson was 159-0 in his collegiate career and also won four individual national championships while at Penn State. He has been the head coach of the top-ranked Nittany Lions since 2009.
