The opening game of the semi-final D2 action is completed! As the clock hit zero in Big Rapids, Mich., Ferris State has punched its ticket back to the D2 National Championship.

The Bulldogs were all gas and no brakes in this semi-final contest piecing together at least one score per quarter. Ferris State ended the day with 511 yards of total offense. 

Quarterback Wyatt Bower was four-for-seven on pass completion with 94 yards and one touchdown toss. Jake Price was the hero for the Bulldogs completing an offensive hat trick for three touchdowns on 85 rushing yards.  

Newberry ended the day with 392 yards of total offense. Quarterback Reed Charpia was 30-for-48 on pass completion with 348 yards of offense and one passing touchdown. Will Young V was the leading receiver with 96 yards on three receptions and one touchdown. 

Ferris State will head back to the D2 National Championship to take on the winner of Harding and Kutztown. The Bulldogs still remain undefeated on the 2025 season.
