Bath topped Munster on its home pitch last weekend. The game was won in the first 20 minutes, as Bath scored three tries and one penalty try following a Munster yellow card. Munster answered with one try — its only score of the game. 

Even with a largely scoreless second half, Bath already had made its mark and secured the 40-14 victory.

Toulon started in the lead but ultimately fell to Edinburgh in Round 1. 

The narrow halftime score of 18-17 signaled the match could go either way, but Toulon lost discipline late, highlighted by a yellow card shown to David Ribbans and a conceded penalty goal. Edinburgh added one final try in the 74th minute, handing Toulon a 33-20 loss.

Both teams lost steam toward the end of their Round 1 matches — Bath with a scoring freeze and Toulon with costly penalties. 

In the upcoming clash, each side will look to stay composed and leave everything on the pitch. With both seeking redemption, this matchup is shaping up to be a must-watch.
