Who Will Set The Tone Early at 2025 WSF Grand Nationals?

The stage is set for the first Grand National event of the season at the 2025 WSF Grand Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky! All star cheer & dance teams have been putting in hard work from the moment teams were first announced after tryouts. Now is the moment for all of that hard work to pay off as these teams bring their routines to life on stage. This competition is a big moment for teams to set the tone early. They have a great opportunity to impress fans by hitting a solid, clean routine, and it's a big opportunity to get ahead in the Varsity Cheer League with 600 points on the line. 2025 WSF Grand Nationals: Storylines To Keep An Eye On

1. First Big Opportunity of The New Season

The first big weekend-long competition of the season is always a great opportunity. Teams are coming off the high emotions of what happened last season. Some finished on a surreal high note as champions at their end-of-season event, and some are feeling highly motivated for a new outcome. The start of a new season turns the page to a fresh start, and that first premier event of the season is a chance for every team to show what they're made of. Programs & teams that set the tone early can continue to ride off that momentum to become stronger & stronger! We are so eager to see the great routines that will be brought to the stage at WSF Grand Nationals.

2. Reigning Cheerleading World Champions Take The Stage

It's a loaded lineup of champions that are set to take the stage at WSF Grand Nationals, from Summit Champions, D2 Summit Champions, Regional Summit Champions, and World Champions. This competition is our first chance to get a look at five teams who were named 2025 World Champions at the USASF Cheerleading Worlds. Here is the list of teams to keep an eye on:

Central Jersey All Stars Bombshells - L6 Senior Medium World Champions, now taking on the L6 Senior Large division
ICE Golden Girls - first time World Champions in L6 Senior XSmall
GymTyme Illinois Fever - Back-to-back-to-back World Champions in L6 Senior XSmall Coed
Rain Athletics Aqua - Back-to-back-to-back World Champions in L6 Limited Small
ATA QuaNTum - first time World Champions in L6 U18 Coed NT

3. Don't Forget About The Incredible Dance Teams!

This competition is a special weekend because some of the best cheer & dance teams will be taking the stage. Be sure to get a good fix of all the incredible dance action that is set to go down as well!
