1,178. National Duals Invitational Preview

The inaugural National Duals Invitational Sponsored by Paycom will be a who’s who of the new collegiate wrestling season, featuring a talented mix of accomplished veterans, past national champions and up-and-comers looking to make a name for themselves.

The event will take place Nov. 15-16 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where fans will get a first-hand look at 11 of the top 12 teams from the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships and eight of the top 10 teams in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association Division I Coaches Poll.

Among them will be the Oklahoma State Cowboys, the unofficial hosts of the event and the only team hailing from the Sooner State. OSU is the No. 5 team in the nation so far this season and is coming off a third-place finish at last year’s NCAA Wrestling Championships.

See who Oklahoma State will be taking on in the opening round of the 2025 National Duals Invitational.

The unique format for the weekend will include a series of duals taking place across four mats at the BOK Center.

For wrestling fans in the United States, there will be 27 duals broadcast live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app, while the championship match for the $200,000 top prize Nov. 16 will air live on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. Eastern.

In the opening round of action Saturday, Oklahoma State will tangle with Cornell, No. 12 in the latest NWCA Coaches Poll and the seventh-place finisher at the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships.

Here is the probable lineup for Oklahoma State at the National Duals Invitational:

  • 125 – No. 2 Troy Spratley
  • 133 – No. 12 Richard Figueroa
  • 141 – Sergio Vega or Carter Young
  • 149 – No. 4 Casey Swiderski
  • 157 – No. 4 Landon Robideau or Teague Travis
  • 165 – No. 4 LaDarion Lockett
  • 174 – No. 10 Alex Facundo
  • 184 – No. 4 Zack Ryder
  • 197 – No. 9 Cody Merrill
  • 285 – No. 9 Konner Doucet

Oklahoma State is the most successful team in NCAA Division I wrestling history as far as team titles. The Cowboys have reached the pinnacle a record 34 times, including 16 of the first 20 editions (1928-1950).

The last one came in 2006 to complete a four-peat for OSU.

However, Oklahoma State had two individual national champions in 2025 – Dean Hamiti at 174 pounds and Wyatt Hendrickson in an upset at 285 pounds.

The talented field will include 16 of the most successful teams in college wrestling, boasting more than 60 NCAA team titles and hundreds of individual national championships.
