FloGrappling's Prospect Of The Month, November 2025: Joslyn Molina
Joslyn Molina is our November FloGrappling Prospect of the Month! Catch this rising star in action Saturday at ADCC Trials.

At FloGrappling, we’re always searching for the athletes who represent the future of jiu-jitsu, people that fans should get excited about as the next vanguard of greatness in this martial art & sport. That’s the goal of our “Prospect of the Month” series, where we highlight one rising star you should know before the rest of the world catches on.
For November, that spotlight lands on a name making waves far earlier than most: 13-year-old Joslyn Molina, a fierce young talent who’s quickly becoming one of the most talked-about prospects in the world. Training out of CheckMat Olympus (and soon making the move to Kingsway in Austin) Molina is preparing for one of the biggest tests of her career as she steps into the ADCC East Coast Trials this weekend - a record-breaking accomplishment in and of itself.
Just to compete in the Trials, which is usually reserved for grapplers fifteen and older, Joslyn had to receive a special dispensation from organizer Mo Jassim - who is also a big believer in Joslyn's talent after seeing her dominate at the kid's levels (including gold at the inaugural ADCC Kid's Worlds).
Despite her age, Molina has already built a reputation for her composure, technical sharpness, and competitive nature. She’s a constant presence at ADCC Opens, often taking on older, more seasoned opponents without hesitation. In the past few years, she has beaten (by my count) four different women who were on the podium at black belt IBJJF No-Gi Worlds. Her aggressive style, crisp positional control, and understanding of crushing pressure have made her a standout in every division she enters.
Her upcoming move to Kingsway, one of Austin’s rapidly rising training rooms, signals the next phase in her development. Surrounded by elite coaches and a room full of hungry competitors, Molina will likely accelerate her growth even further - especially with training partners like Helena Crevar and coaches like John Danaher and Gordon Ryan.
While she’s still just beginning her journey, Molina’s overall skill, drive, and talent point to a ceiling that’s hard to predict but pretty undeniably high. And with Trials right around the corner, she’ll have every opportunity to show exactly why she’s our November Prospect of the Month.
