Western Oregon Capitalizes On First Half Offense To Defeat Angelo State
Week 10 of the NCAA football season is coming to a close. In the LSC, No.25 Western Oregon sees victory over No.23 Angelo State. Relive the action here!

On Nov. 8, the Angelo State Rams fall to the Western Oregon Wolves in San Angelo, Texas. In this Top-25 matchup, the storyline of capitalizing on first-half offense helped push the Wolves to a 31-7 victory.

The Western Oregon Wolves came in hot and never took their foot off the gas, barring some lulls in offense for both sides. The Wolves tallied at least one score in every quarter and quarterback Jordan McCarty was responsible for 14 of the teams 31 points.
In the win, the Wolves tallied 347 yards of total offense. Quarterback Jordan McCarty was 9-for-15 on pass completion with 75 yards and one touchdown toss. McCarty was also the leading rusher for Western Oregon with 99 yards on 12 carries for two rushing touchdowns.
The Wolves will return home on Nov. 15 to take on LSC leader Central Washington for the last regular season home game.
On the Angelo State side of things, the Rams struggled to get things going offensively. Only being able to piece together one score, ASU tallied 197 yards of offense.
Quarterback Braeden Fuller was 13-for-30 on pass completion for 92 yards and a touchdown pass. Trevor Winn was the leading receiver for the Rams with 56 yards on six receptions and one touchdown.
The Rams will hit the road for their final regular season contest against West Texas A&M on Nov. 15.
