Ferris State enters a new era under interim head coach Alex Fodness, who steps in to lead one of Division II’s most accomplished programs. The Bulldogs were picked sixth in the GLIAC preseason poll and will look to maintain their championship standard built over two decades.

Ferris State brings back eight players, including forward Tyler Hamilton, who earned GLIAC Preseason Second Team recognition. Hamilton’s perimeter shooting and defensive presence make him a vital returner for a team known for balance and depth.

The Bulldogs’ legacy is steeped in success, with 17 GLIAC titles, 18 NCAA Tournament appearances and a 2018 national championship. Their culture of consistency remains a defining strength.

With six incoming transfers and returning veterans such as Mykel Bingham and Donovan Brown-Boyd, Ferris State expects its deep rotation and winning pedigree to carry the program forward in 2025–26.
