Maine Black Bears are streaking and have a chance to make it five wins in a row this weekend, hosting Stony Brook as the both teams try to climb out of the trenches of the CAA standings with a winning record.

It all kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET in Orono, Maine.

Despite starting their 2025 campaign with four losses in a row, the Black Bears flipped the script and followed it up with four wins, including two on the road.

Although both teams are 4-4, Maine's 3-1 CAA record has them just out of reach of the top-25 ranked Villanova, Monmouth, and Rhode Island.

Stony Brook enters the game with a tailwind, taking what looked like a dominant win against Towson in New York on Homecoming weekend until Towson came storming back late in the 4th quarter.

A three and out that resulted in -6 yards for Stony Brook was sandwiched by two huge touchdown passes by Towson's Nathan Kent to bring the gap down from 24 to 12 in one quarter.
