La Verne holds No. 1 in the NCAA D3 volleyball rankings as East Texas Baptist stays unbeaten and earns 18 first-place votes. Lynchburg enters at No. 25.
La Verne may still hold the top spot, but East Texas Baptist is closing in fast.
With just two weeks remaining before postseason tournaments begin, La Verne (20-0) and East Texas Baptist (25-0) remain the only undefeated teams in the Division III top 25.

The Tigers climbed to No. 2 back in Week 4 and have stayed there ever since, quietly building a 25-match win streak that’s now impossible to overlook. After weeks of steady dominance, East Texas Baptist earned 18 first-place votes in the latest poll — the most for a second-ranked team this season and a clear signal of rising respect among voters.
Elsewhere, the rankings saw little movement, signaling how firmly the top programs have settled into place. No. 25 Lynchburg entered the poll this week, replacing Carnegie Mellon, which dropped off the chart.
