Who To Watch In League 6 This Season? - TAI Ice Coed

The 2025-2026 all star cheer season is officially underway! Teams already have the opportunity to earn points to the Varsity Cheer League with these early events. In fact, earning those early points allows teams to get off to a strong start in the standings when the Leaderboard drops in early January. This year brings a new start with Season 3 of the League 6 All Girl and League 6 Coed conferences. Our next team we want to call your attention to on our League 6 teams to watch list is a team that made an impressive statement last season in their first year as a team. TAI Ice Coed is back in the L6 Limited XSmall Coed division and ready to continue their momentum.

2025-2026 League 6 Teams To Watch: TAI Ice Coed

Last season was the first year that TAI Ice Coed competed together as a team, and boy, did they make a grand entrance! They finished the season in third place on the League 6 Coed leaderboard with 3,749 points. That third place finish in the League 6 Coed conference earned them a $5,000 cash prize! Here's a look at some of their top events last season where they earned significant points:

  • Spirit Cheer Super Nationals - 1st Place, 700 points
  • NCA All-Star Nationals - 2nd Place, 675 points
  • Spirit of Hope Grand Nationals - 1st Place, 600 points
  • WSF Grand Nationals - 2nd Place, 574 Points
  • Cheer Power Grand Nationals - 1st Place, 600 points

TAI Ice Coed made their mark by earning points early and by continuing that momentum with 600+ points earned nearly every month. Last season, they started earning points right away in December with 574 points from WSF Grand Nationals. They kicked off the New Year in a big way with a 700 point win at Spirit Cheer Super Nationals, followed by 600 points from Spirit of Hope Grand Nationals. Earning those big points consistently in January, February and March helped them hold on to their spot on the League 6 Coed leaderboard.

TAI Ice Coed wrapped up the 2024-2025 season feeling pretty confident. The team was able to make a name for themselves in the L6 Limited XSmall Coed division from Day 1. Keep TAI Ice Coed on your teams to watch list this season as they aim to pick up right where they left off. If Ice Coed can get off to a successful early start again this season, they could definitely be in the running when the first edition of the leaderboard drops in early January.
